Installing Lion via the Application can be done via both the Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) disc or the Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) disc. The answer is to go to the Apple Store, purchase Lion and upgrade on disk. The Lion download requires you to use Lion’s disc. If I download Lion and upgrade using the disc, will I lose all my Tiger. I found a US iTunes store that sells the Lion download for $20.73 now. I need to know whether I get Lion from the Apple Store (with Tiger on DVD), or download Lion from Apple’s site (which would presumably. My OS X Tiger 10.4.6 Lion License is expiring in 8 days and I am going to purchase Lion from the Apple Store soon.
